Hello Charger fans, are you ready to rumble? The Bolts will be playing the Seahawks on Saturday Night. San Diego is favored by 3 1/2 points. I will recap the game early next week.
I have huge hopes for the Chargers this year, but then again, I have huge hopes for the Chargers every year. I like their recent defense draft picks, and I believe that the defense will be much stronger this year. Shawne Merriman is foaming at the mouth after missing the 2008 season. He cut his hair into a mo-hawk and dyed it dark blue last month.
I do believe that the Chargers need to strengthen their wide receiver arsenal a bit more.Chambers and Jackson are okay, but I think that they could have done better. Rivers is on fire! Even with the lousy season that San Diego had last year, Rivers lit up fantasy football scoreboards with his stats. In real life, he is currently tied with John Elway for the 3rd best, of 33 victories in his first 48 starts. This is right behind Dan Marino with 34, and Ben Roethlisberger’s 35. Rivers also has a 92.9 passer rating which is 2nd only to Marino, and he has a 2.16 touchdown to interception ratio, which is the best of all qualifying NFL Quarterbacks in their first 48 starts.
The Chargers recently welcomed an advisor, consultant, mentor, and friend on board, to help the team out. Former Los Angeles and USC coach John Robinson is around to give his career expertise input. Norv Turner needs all the help that he can get, so I hope this betters an already weakened coaching staff.
I believe that the Chargers can win the SuperBowl against any NFC team, this year. I really do. However, I don’t think that they will make it that far. I don’t think that in the playoffs that will defeat New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Tennessee, and maybe even Indianapolis. They will make it to the playoffs, but that’s about it. I hope I am wrong, though!

TAKE A HIKE:
To the Philadelphia Eagles for signing Michael Vick. Yes, I understand that he did his time, and I don’t want to live in a society where we do our time and then are NOT allowed to start over. However, I don’t think that Vick did enough time. He murdered , and tortured some of God’s innocent and defenseless creatures. In my opinion, Michael Vick should have been sentenced to at least 10 years. Also, after doing time for a reprehensible crime, I don’t think that the defendant who is FOUND GUILTY, should be allowed to once again make millions of dollars during their second chance in life. I am biased. I am a huge dog lover. My Golden Retriever, Kozmo, is laying on the floor next to me as I write this, so maybe it is impossible for someone like me to remain impartial.

Question: Why do the Oakland Raiders score so few points during their football games?
Answer: Because they only have 10 fingers to count with.
